Unmixable Water

We filled one jar with hot water.
Then we put red dye in.
Then, with another jar, we filled it with cold water.
Then, we put blue dye in.
Then we put more hot water in the red jar.
Then we put a card on top of the red jar and tapped it.
Then we turned the red jar upside down and put it on top of the blue jar.
Then I removed the card.
The colors didn't really mix, they stayed in their jars.
Then, I guessed if we turned the jars over, the colors would make purple.
So, we did that and I was right!
